The only game possible in Hunters York and District Senior League division one saw Stamford Bridge's West Indian player Lorenzo Ingram rip the Hull Zingari attack to ribbons.

He raced to 119no in the allocated 25 overs.

With Andy Milner making 69, Stamford Bridge reached a remarkable 222-2.

Hull skipper Alastair Markham then led his side to a draw with an unbeaten 55 from the number three slot, Hull reaching 138-5.

In division two, Sewerby got the better of a draw at home to Dringhouses, whose last pair survived the last two overs to stave off defeat.

South African Mark Vogel made 62 in Sewerby's 151-5 in 30 overs. In reply, wicketkeeper Mark Fenton made 46 and Mick Kenyon 32, but Peter Baxter claimed 5-19 in eight overs and Vogel took 2-49 to leave the York side on the edge at 125-9.

No play was possible in any of the games in division three.

In division four, Beverley Town II inflicted a six-wicket defeat on Sheriff Hutton.

Sheriff Hutton made 175-6, Ben Tompkins leading the way with 79, while Richard Laycock took 4-52 in 14 overs. In reply, Peter Groves made 47 and an unbroken stand between Paul Fleming (21no) and James Bayes (43no) took Town to victory in the 34th over.

At Pickering, Dave Patmore made 42 and Darren Howell 44 as Huby made 153-4 . Huby's Paul Moore then took 5-43 in 15 overs and Pickering's reply closed on 140-8.

In division five, Pocklington crashed to 48 all out at Dunnington as Ian Burgess took 3-4 and Jamie Rossington 3-10. Chris Burgess made an unbeaten 37 as Dunnington won by ten wickets.

A Whitkirk side containing 11 players aged under 20 drew at Sheriff Hutton Bridge when they held out for 71-5 in face of the Bridge score of 143-7.
