Shadow Health Secretary Andrew Lansley visited Scarborough and Whitby where he visited the surgery of John Renshaw, chairman of the British Dental Association.

Mr Lansley was expected to raise the painful case of the Scarborough woman who pulled out her teeth with a pair of pliers because she could not get an appointment.
