GENEROUS cyclist David Boulton was marking his firm's 150th anniversary by pedalling as many miles for charity today.

David, who works for property consultants Carter Jonas is making a whirlwind two-day trip between the company's offices in Kendal, Harrogate, York, Huddersfield and Leeds.

The associate planner hopes to raise hundreds of pounds for the Wilf Ward Family Trust, which provides support for people with learning and physical disabilities in North and East Yorkshire. "It's such a worthwhile cause and I'm determined to raise as much money as I can," he said.

David, 36, became involved with the Trust while working with clients Martyn and Patricia Sellars, from Shipton-by-Beningbrough, near York. The couple's long-term aim is to provide purpose-built supported living accommodation for disabled young adults including their teenage daughter, Ruth.

David, based at Carter Jonas's Harrogate office, is also using his trip to deliver copies of The Collection, the company's annual brochure and digest of prestige properties.

Anyone wishing to sponsor him or donate to the Wilf Ward Family Trust can phone him on 01423 523423.
