POLICE said today they want to trace a blue car, seen in the area of an incident in which five intruders forced their way into a York home and assaulted three foreign nationals.
The attack, reported in later editions of last night's Evening Press, happened at a house in Burniston Grove, Tang Hall, at 3.15am yesterday.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "The occupants of the premises, who were foreign nationals, had been assaulted. One sustained serious injuries and another two less serious. injuries.
"Police are interested in locating a blue car, reported to have a partial registration number of V654 which was seen to leave the address shortly afterwards."
