I WENT to Royal Ascot and took a party of women with me. I do this every year.
York's police and city council did a good job. I came into York from Malvern, Worcestershire, on the A64.
The traffic was moving all the time and it took all of 20 minutes to park in C car park from the A64. The police were very helpful and mixed in with the crowd.
What a great day out.
Well done York, this was much better organised than Royal Ascot at Ascot because all the traffic comes to a stop and takes a very long time to get into the racecourse.
They should come to York and see how it should be done. Well done to everyone involved in making it such a success.
