At Haxby Road School all the Year 6 children are going to Flamingo Land.
They are going the Friday after SATS, as a treat for doing their SATS.
They have to bring a pound in every week for ten weeks, to pay for the coach and to get in. They will be split into 6 or 7 groups.
In each group there will 1 teacher and 5 kids. The teachers that are going are Miss Atkinson, Mr Long, Mrs Bradley and Miss Maher and some parents.
It depends on which teacher you get because if you like scary rides hopefully you get a teacher that likes them too.
There are a lot of different rides at Flamingo Land. Here are some of the different rides.
If you like rollercoaster's then Magnum is for you, if you like heights then the cliff hanger is for you, if you like fast rides the Velocity. And if you like animals the zoo is for you.
Flamingo Land opens at 10am. There is a theme park, a holiday village and a zoo.
The prices for children (2-11) are £5, adults are £6 and under 2's go free.
My opinion is that that is great. So come on visit Flamingo Land.
