EMMERDALE actor Jeff Hordley, who plays Cain Dingle, is to take part in an annual charity walk in York. The actor will cut the ribbon at the start of the York Walk For Colitis and Crohn’s, and then do the walk himself.
On Sunday, May 23, hundreds of people will walk the 7km scenic route around the city centre for the fifth annual NACC York walk. Colitis and Crohn’s Disease are forms of inflammatory bowel disease that are widely prevalent in the UK and affect almost a quarter of million people, with the young people being most at risk. If you would like to join this year’s walk as a walker or a volunteer, register online at nacc.org.uk/naccwalks. Entry is free. The walk will start at the Museum Gardens at noon.
