TWO men have been charged with an armed robbery at Henshall post office, near Selby, earlier this month.
The two are alleged to have broken into the post office on the morning of March 4 and threatened to shoot a female customer if the postmaster did not hand over the contents of the safe.
On Wednesday, armed officers in South Yorkshire arrested the two men on suspicion of the robbery. The men have also been charged with two other robberies, one at a post office at Owston Ferry, Humberside, on March 16, and the second at Thorne, North Yorkshire, on March 19.
The men were due to appear before magistrates in North Lincolnshire today.
