So City of York council wants to have a cycle lane in Blossom Street? Another daft, money-wasting idea.
Surely it would make more sense to get rid of the bendy buses. The number of times I have waited behind these buses in Blossom Street taking up two lanes, while waiting to turn into Queen Street, the filter light is on, but waiting cars can’t move on because of these buses taking up two lanes.
City of York council, as well as York citizens, are aware that city roads and tight corners are not suitable for these monster buses to be in service on Blossom Street, which causes problems as far back as Tadcaster Road. More wasted taxpayers’ money.
