Reading the letter by Mr Bonner from Huntington Road on the sale of knives to young people (Take hard line to keep crime down, March 22), it amazes me still that one can go in to a sports shop and with out any form of a licence and a crossbow and bolts can be purchased, as can air weapons from shops selling these items.
Where is the common sense within the ranks of the Government to address these problems and make sure these items used in sport cannot be used as a weapon in the local community?
