OFFICERS investigating the disappearance of Claudia Lawrence are expected to continue their search of a field in Heslington tomorrow.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said nothing of interest had been found so far, but said conditions in the field meant the search would last another day.
Martin Dales, a spokesman for Claudia’s father Peter Lawrence visited the scene today.
“It’s obviously very encouraging that the police are still physically searching as well as doing all the work they’re doing in the backroom on the computers and interviewing people,” he said.
The field being searched borders on student accommodation and a playing field.
