RUFFORTH and Cliffe third teams were elected to the IT Sports sponsored York and District Mixed Doubles Tennis League at the annual meeting.
Civil Service dropped their third team so that 87 teams will compete in 11 divisions when the season opens on Monday, May 3.
The annual prize presentation will be hosted by York Tennis Club at the new Clifton Park function room on Friday, October 22.
Officers re-elected: president Malcolm Huntington; chairman Graham Cookman; secretary/treasurer Sue Espiner; match secretary Barbara Leopard; auditor Peter Thirsk.
