THERE were long delays on the A64 heading into York this morning after a car accident.
The minor accident took place at around 8.25am near Whitwell on the Hill. A Land Rover was involved in a collision with a Toyota Corolla in the west-bound lane.
No injuries were reported but the woman driver of the Toyota was taken to York Hospital suffering from shock.
Police said the road was cleared by 8.50am.
