Clifton went on the rampage to secure a 7-2 victory at Burnholme in York John Smith’s Ladies Darts League division one.

Clifton’s Carole Layne gamed in 20 darts in her singles, including scores of 140 and 121. She also hit a ton in the pairs with Judy Hall.

Slip ‘B’ won by the same score at Slipper to move within three points of leaders Cueball ‘B’.

Cygnet were 7-2 victors at Tiger to move within striking distance. Captain Michelle Britton led from the front with three ton-plus scores, and sister Amanda hit a maximum.

Ton-up Sarah Jackson starred for Flag ‘A’ in their victory at Slip ‘A’.

Cueball ‘A’ were all square with Shepherd ‘A’ after the singles, where Sue Smith hit three treble 19s for 171 and daughter Faye Hawksby (140, 100) shone for the snooker club side.

Shep captain Maggie Beddingham and Chris Peebles nosed them in front. Audrey Carling and Emily Fairclough set up a decider, where Hawksby was joined by Joan Hunter to secure victory.

Burton WMC recovered from a 4-2 deficit after visitors Tap had turned on the style in the singles. The club side won the remaining legs, with Jean Wright and Jaquie Woods snatching the win.

Seahorse ‘B’ moved into pole position in division three after a 6-3 win at Leeman ‘A’.

Acomb ‘B’ were gifted the points after Shoulder did not show.

Sharon Rishworth and Barbara Russell combined to secure victory by the meanest margin for Leeman ‘B’ at Swan.
