The council has made an excellent job of the flood wall protecting Peckitt Street and Friar’s Terrace.
The materials and workmanship are exemplary, and to the casual observer the change will be hardly noticed. The council’s own labour force carried out the works, and their skilfull and good humoured approach whilst coping with both floods and snow is much appreciated.
