AN 88-year-old Daniel O’Donnell fan spent two days queuing for tickets to the star’s next show in Bridlington.
Selby pensioner Ben Horsfield spent two nights in his camper van to ensure he got front-row tickets to the Irish singer’s performance in May.
He arrived at the East Coast town last Thursday with the tickets going on sale on Saturday morning.
Mr Horsfield said: “I was going to come later on Thursday afternoon, but with the roadworks outside the Spa I decided to come a little earlier to make sure nobody stole my space while I was looking for a parking spot.”
Mr Horsfield spent his time playing bingo and walking around Bridlington. He said staff at the Spa Theatre knew he was first in line and he had left his deckchair near the door so people would know he was first in the queue.
He said despite it being midwinter his camper van was “nice and warm” and he had plenty of food to keep him going.
It is not the first time Mr Horsfield has queued to make sure he got tickets to see the star.
Last March he spent three nights outside the Spa in Bridlington again and he once spent two weeks queuing in Scarborough.
