POLICE searching for a missing part-time gamekeeper have found a body.
Ian Simpkin, 36, of Wath near Ripon was reported missing last Sunday evening when he failed to return from a walk.
Earlier this afternoon police officers found the body of a man in an isolated wooded area approximately two miles from Wath.
Although the body has not been formally identified, police believe it is Mr Simpkin.
It is not believed there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a post mortem is due to be carried out.
