THIS is an open letter to spaghetti /ravioli-chucker Martin Stot (Bucket shock, The Press, December 30).
Whatever the rights or wrongs of Father Tim Jones’s comments, your attack on him was planned and somewhat cowardly and, in my opinion, infantile.
May I suggest the 30 cans of aforementioned foodstuff would have done much more good at the homeless hostel in The Stonebow than dropped all over Father Tim Jones’s uniform of office.
His decision not to press any charges over what amounts to common assault shows him to be a true man of God, if maybe just a tad misguided.
