York Crown Court’s objection to the Ice Factor returning to its well-established Christmas venue – and how come they have taken this long – all because cases are affected by that alien sound of enjoyment, has to be almost inhuman.
Just how many crown courts up and down the country are never affected by external noise? For some, it could well be a problem throughout the entire year.
No alternative venue could even begin to present that wow factor – forgive the pun – which the Eye of York setting undoubtedly does. And that is precisely why 20,000 of us have signed the petition to keep the ice rink there – and what a shining star it has been in York’s magical Christmas kingdom.
