Flooding in the Yorkshire area, in cities, towns and villages, is the neglect of Yorkshire Water.
We need a pumping station in the Selby area, and linking various rivers, Ouse, Calder etc, and a large pipeline into the Humber estuary.
This is essential for the needs of our Yorkshire area. As soon as the rivers rise, in come the pumps and millions of gallons of water per hour is pumped into the Humber.
Let’s start seeing the wheels turning.
