POLICE investigating a sex attack on a young woman in a York street have arrested a 36-year-old man from the city.
He has been released on bail while the probe into the sexual assault in the Albermarle Road area in the early hours of last Sunday continues.
North Yorkshire Police have appealed for a teenage girl wearing a Manchester United top who was trying to get a taxi in the area at the time and may have spoken to the victim, who was wearing a short skirt and calf-length boots and was carrying or wearing a witch's hat when she was attacked.
