Five Pocklington School rugby players have been selected for the Yorkshire RFU Squad in their respective age groups.
Tarek Mursal and James Wilkinson have been selected for the Under-19s, Richard Skowronek for the U18s and Isaac Green and Alex Torkington for the East Yorkshire U17s.
Green has also made the Yorkshire U18 squad.
Last year prop Mursal was a member of the U17 Yorkshire RFU squad. He plays for the first XV at school but like many of those who have been selected, he also played for East Yorkshire U16s in 2007 and was initially selected from this squad to make up the forwards squad for the U17s East Yorkshire Trials.
The U18 squad selection was made earlier in the summer and flanker Skowronek took part in a tour to Ireland playing Ulster Schools and Leinster Clubs.
Wilkinson was a member of the U17 Yorkshire RFU squad last year and has since been called into the U19 set-up. He plays prop for the 1st XV.
Green, a scrum-half, and inside-centre Torkington have been chosen for their respective squads having impressed at trials. Only 31 players are selected from all the schools and clubs in the county to represent the full Yorkshire squad.
