I WOULD like to take this opportunity to congratulate the First bus company. While most readers prefer to complain about our buses, I would like to share the experience I had the other day.
Whilst boarding a number 4 FTR in town the driver went out of his way to greet passengers, help elderly folk onto the bus and those with cases. He smiled throughout and looked like he actually enjoyed his job.
The journey home was comfortable, and to top it all he was very pleasing to the eye.
The host informed me he had only been on the buses a while, so well done First, let’s have more of him.
