Given the shortage of homes within the UK, Portakabin should be inundated with orders for this type of home, which could be a temporary accommodation for many without a roof over heads at all (Factory to axe 75 jobs, The Press, October 15).
I am also aware that with all the disasters that occur round the world, when many lose everything, if they owned a structure such as this I am sure it would be a blessing to many hit by an earthquake or flooding.
At least it would be cover for a family with nothing. What a precious gift for a country like the UK to give to another on such an unfortunate situation. Portakabin should be at the forefront of the Government’s mind when such disasters occur.
