Josh Savage has been gigging in and around his native Winchester but is now about to start his new academic life at York University.
He writes and performs his own material and here we showcase some of Josh's live gigs.
In his own words...
"I've been into music ever since I started the Piano at 4 years old whilst I was growing up in Paris. As the years went by, I started playing more and more instruments and even started singing as a choirboy.
When I moved to England, I carried on choirsinging till my voice broke and moved off to different styles of music (like musicals, jazz, pop, rock... whilst still carrying on with classical music). So I enjoy listening to all music basically.
Today, I play the Piano, Guitar, Drums and sing (used to play Trumpet but had to stop because I didn't have time anymore) and I always love jammin' about with someone. My songwriting's been going since I was 15 and I perform whenever I get the chance.
Recently, I went busking a lot in order to raise money for my trip to India with a charity group called Fulcrum to build a school in the foothills of the Himalayas. It was actually amazing, the best experience of my life and would definitely do it again."
