We are told CUTS, CUTS, CUTS and the difficult decisions to be made to balance the books. Public spending must be brought down; public services, on which many people depend, have to be cut. Those and their families who have lost their jobs. The old, disabled and infirm, most of whom have given valuable service to the nation. Those on minimum wages and below. They must all tighten their belts with reduced services.

Not those who do not depend on these services and prefer private. They don’t have public services belts to tighten. Like those who control our services, as well as the banks and private businesses and brought us to the crisis we are in. They have creamed off the takings are sitting pretty and telling us to tighten our belts and balance the books.

Some are still creaming off what they can. They could tighten their belts without pain. Some have honours and end up in the House of Lords for it. Our politicians, made them first priority to bail out; putting us in debt for years. FOR OUR OWN SAKE!!!!!

If we don’t look after them well, they could take their skills abroad and our financial markets would suffer.

So be it. Those who desert their country for money, when it’s in trouble of their making, we would be better without. There will be young people who would be proud and keen to take up the challenge and others with experience, to help and guide them for much less.

Put an emergency 15% on the income tax of top earners as a lead for us all. End the freedom to move abroad and pay no tax on wealth made here while British workers pay their dues in full. Let those who steered the ship into stormy waters learn from their mistakes, take their fair share of the pain and bring us back on course to go forward and compete in very competitive world markets.

Look elsewhere for savings and leave our public services intact for those who need and deserve them.
