THE former landlord caught secretly filming female guests undressing in his pub has been placed on the sex offenders’ register for five years.
Jason Martin Manto, 40, pleaded guilty to two charges of voyeurism committed in May 2008 at the Bay Horse, Fulford. He now lives in Croydon, Surrey.
When he was sentenced a week ago, the court believed he would not have to go on the register because he was given a community order with three years’ supervision and a sex offenders’ treatment programme. But lawyers discovered his offences meant he had to register. Because he received a community order, he must ensure police are aware of his address for the next five years.
