CHILDREN can play for free at an indoor activity centre in York this month.
Creepy Crawlies Adventure Park is taking part in a Government-backed scheme, aimed at encouraging children to get “exercise in disguise”.
It is one of 74 play centres across the UK that are taking part in the Play4Life campaign, which will run for the month of September. It is part of the Government’s wider Change4Life campaign, which aims to teach people how to live longer through exercise and eating well. Every time a child visits the adventure park, near Clifton Moor, they will be given a free pass to come back another day of the month.
• Readers of The Press can also pick up a free fold-up frisbee when they visit the centre.
