PLAYTIME: York MP Hugh Bayley and Pete Dwyer, director of learning, culture and children’s services, chat to parents and toddlers at Museum Gardens
YORK MP Hugh Bayley joined toddlers, parents and education leaders to talk about the city’s children’s centres.
He attended a party in Museum Gardens, where families and council officials praised the venues.
Mr Bayley said: “The Children’s Centres provide parents with help and support. All children deserve the best possible start in life and Sure Start gives them that opportunity. The help and advice begins before a baby is even born and continues through early childhood.”
