A CYCLIST riding from West Yorkshire to the East Yorkshire coast passed through York on his journey to raise money for an organisation that provides housing for vulnerable people.
Nigel Cook rode from Dewsbury to Bridlington via numerous places including Wakefield, Garforth, Tadcaster and York.
He was riding to raise cash for clients of Stonham, England’s largest provider of housing and support for vulnerable people.
Nigel, who was a client of Stonham’s office in Queen Street, Ravensthorpe, near Dewsbury, before moving into his own flat, said: “All monies raised will go to help other Stonham clients at Queen Street and the N6 area.”
