NORTH Yorkshire’s leading women’s amateur player, Emma Brown, is to return to international team golf after a three-year absence.
Brown has been selected for England in the European ladies’ team championship at Bled, Slovenia, from July 7 to 11.
The Malton and Norton Golf Club ace quit the international scene in 2006 after no fewer than three Curtis Cup appearances for Great Britain and numerous tours abroad.
But she is now back in the international set-up, a call to arms which also coincides this week with her taking up a new job as clubhouse manager at Sandburn Hall GC.
