Heworth ARLC U18s produced a much better performance against Fryston at Elm Park Way but lost 48-22.
Their previous encounter earlier in the season had seen the Villagers blown out of the water but this proved to be much different.
Centres Bish Chaplin and man-of-the-match Tom Hirst were among the Villagers’ try-scorers, the latter from a fine individual run. Jake Ripley, Spud Wilkinson and Liam Ryan also impressed.
