HAVING hung up their wimple and loin cloth, at least for now, the nation’s favourite Maria and Joseph deliver second solo albums. Both sets are rather good, certainly in their genre, and a vast improvement on the so-so debuts.
The choice of material is more considered, suggesting artists with direction and purpose. Lee Mead contributes his own Breathe You Out, and covers Ryan Adam’s fabulous When The Stars Go Blue, both wise choices.
