PUPILS at Business and Enterprise College Tadcaster Grammar School have helped host an event for enterprising women.
As part of its community specialism, the school hosted an International Women’s Day event, Women On Top, at the Riley Smith Hall in the town.
Businesses from in and around the brewery town provided a number of hands-on experiences for those attending and workshops centred on starting businesses and team-building.
One of the organisers of the day, Amanda Crossley, partnership development director at the school, said: “International Women’s Day is quite a well-established community event in Tadcaster.
“The school offers a wide range of activities and events for the whole community, and we are delighted that everyone had a great day”.
