IT was a case of being all white on the night for the opening of York’s newest clothes store.
White Stuff, a clothes store renowned for its quirky features, opened its door to paying customers yesterday in Stonegate. One of the more unusual features of the shop is a nine-seater cinema, in which customers will be able to take time out from shopping to relax.
White Stuff already has 53 shops nationwide selling men’s and women’s clothing and accessories, and ten full and part-time staff have been appointed in York.
Retail director David Abramson said: “Complete with its own boutique cinema and quirky interior, White Stuff York promises to offer a different shopping experience to other retailers.”
During March, the shop’s windows will be full of props from The Sound Of Music, as customers will also be able to enjoy the classic film in the cinema.
