All six new signings played their best rugby of the season as a depleted All Blacks U11s lost 24-12 at home to Milford.
Luke Adamson scored the first All Blacks try after he took an inside ball from George Leatt. Adamson converted.
Will Ireland’s scampering run close to the line gave the All Blacks their second and Leatt added the conversion.
Man of the match was Ireland, who was excellent in attack and defence, while Daryl Talmadge got the outstanding effort award for his strong forward running.
New signings Matty Crosby and Elliot Morton picked up “excellent in defence” awards.
