New Earswick All Blacks U9s stood up well to their toughest challenge of the season against Stanley.
Man of the match was the ever-improving Josh Harrison, while the team player award went to Henri Grimbley.
Try scorer Adam Winterburn Rhodes made good use of his pace to cross and he was joined on the scoresheet by opposition man of the match Reece Logie, who also kicked a goal.
In the forwards, Harry Suter’s non-stop tackling stemmed the flow and Harvey Baynes returned to the action after injury to play his part.
Acting half Josh Ireland always looked a threat with his jinking runs, while Jimmy Pigott showed his pace.
Alfie Oliver and Thomas Noble had steady games, while Harrison capped a fine display with a try, goaled by Suter.
