Hockey and netball teams from Queen Margaret’s School at both under-16 and under-19 levels, have won places in the Yorkshire County Championships following their victories at the recent York and District tournaments.
The Escrick-based school has represented the district in both sports before, but this is the first time the school has achieved a double in the same year.
Also, 27 girls from Queen Margaret’s will be representing North Yorkshire at lacrosse following their selection to county ‘A’ and ‘B’ squads.
