Staff and pupils at Carr Infants School, in York, have celebrated winning two awards in one year.
The school has achieved the Healthy School award for promoting healthy eating and lifestyle, and the Quality Mark 2 award for the standard of its curriculum.
To achieve the Quality Mark 2 Award, the school had to submit two large files of evidence to the local authorities and the Basic Skills Agency.
Head teacher Sue Bell said: "The children now have a firm understanding of what being healthy is.
"They understand that they have choices to make and that being healthy benefits their bodies."
"They are very proud that they come to a school that provides for every child, that they come to a very inclusive school where every child is made to feel that they are successful."
