From golden jubilee to platinum anniversary - George Sharp is celebrating living in his house for the last 70 years.
He was only eight when his parents moved to the terraced home in Haxby and he has lived there ever since, so we can assume he is fond of the property.
His neighbours thought it was such an achievement these days, they threw a surprise party for George.
By now we reckon he knows his way about the place, but surely the poor man has missed out on the joys of moving house, an event with a stress rating alongside bereavement or divorce.
And just think how much he has saved in all those solicitors and estate agents' fees, stamp duty and removal vans.
Lucky man.
