JUNIOR angler Adam Miller has landed a huge haul of trophies.
The 12-year-old has been a member of York Junior Angling Club for three years and signalled his talent with victory in the Sheriff Hutton Anglers Junior Cup in 2006.
In March this year, he netted first place in the Leeds & District Amalgamation of Anglers Junior Match. That success earned him a place in the Leeds team for the National Waterways Get Hooked On Fishing Championships, where he was top weight as the squad won gold.
Adam lifted the Hoxne Farm Trophy in July and the Pool Bridge Cup in August, both York Juniors events, before winning the North of England Police Junior Championship.
That roll of honour saw Adam nominated for Young Sportsperson Of The Year in the York Sports Awards.
