THESE were the dramatic scenes as police carried out drugs raids at houses in York.
Officers arrested one woman when they carried out two drugs raids in Clifton - one in Burdyke Avenue and the other in Spalding Avenue.
Inspector Mark Khan, of York Police, said officers from the neighbourhood support team, formerly known as the strike team, carried out the warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act, yesterday morning.
Ministry of Defence police also assisted.
Insp Khan said: "There was some property recovered and one person was arrested.
"Inquiries are on-going."
At least six police vans were parked up outside the houses as officers with sniffer dogs searched the two addresses.
