NORTH Yorkshire Moors Railway is steaming ahead with its Christmas plans.
Tickets have been released for the railway’s popular Santa Specials and families are being encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment.
From December 1 to 23, children have the chance to join Father Christmas and his helpers on an adventure aboard the Santa Express.
Children can enjoy juice, fruit and an activity bag, and for adults there is a mince pie, hot drink and a seasonal tipple.
There will also be real reindeer at Pickering Station.
Chris Price, general manager at North Yorkshire Moors Railway, said: “Our Santa Specials bring so much joy to our visitors, and to see children, parents and grandparents enjoying the experience is an absolute pleasure. With something for everyone, young and old, we look forward to welcoming passengers of all ages to delight in the wonder of Christmas on the railway.”
The Santa Specials will depart from Pickering and Grosmont stations. Tickets are £22 from nymr.co.uk.
