TICKETS are still available for Leeds Festival, unlike for its sold-out sister event down south, Reading Festival.

Traditionally the last of the big music festivals of the year, the three-day event will run from FRiday at Bramham Park, near Wetherby, where the forecast is for cool weather with north westerly winds and mostly dry conditions, with sunshine on the first two days and the possibility of rain on the Sunday evening.

Kings Of Leon headline Leeds Fest for the second time on Friday, a day when Courteeners, The Vaccines, J Hus, Major Lazer co-creator Diplo, Slaves, Hollywood Undead, Hannah Wants and Bedford singer-songwriter Tom Grennan are in action too.

Saturday's big names will be Chicago four-piece Fall Out Boy plugging their latest album, Mania, American rapper Travis Scott, The Kooks, The Wombats and Post Malone. Look out too for Mercury prize nominees Wolf Alice, Nothing But Thieves, Annie Mac, Florida rock outfit UnderØath, The Horrors and The Blinders.

Compton rapper and five-time Grammy Award winner Kendrick Lamar is the hot attraction on Sunday, making his return to Leeds Festival. On the bill too are Brendon Urie's Las Vegan act Panic! At The Disco, N.E.R.D., chart-topping Dua Lipa, Sum 41, Pendulum, Papa Roach, Kate Nash and Wretch 32.

Comedians Harry Hill, Joel Dommett, Chris Ramsey, Lee Nelson, Russell Kane, Big Shaq, Tom Allen, Tiff Stevenson and Puff The Magic Dragon all will be having a laugh over the weekend to complement the rock, dance, alternative and urban acts on the Leeds line-up.

Festival Republic promoter Melvin Benn says: "Leeds prides itself on being a music-first festival and this year’s line-up proves that. Kings Of Leon and Fall Out Boy are bands that have grown with the festival and its fans and we couldn’t be more pleased to invite them back to headline, while Kendrick Lamar is probably the most sought-after act in the world right now."
