A YORK-based business has celebrated a milestone with the phase one opening of its latest development, Allerthorpe Golf & Park Retreat.
Luxury holiday home company Park Leisure toasted the opening of its newly-designed 18-card, nine-hole golf course and bar and soon-to-be restaurant The Pheasant Bar & Dining in East Yorkshire.
Leading the celebrations was East Yorkshire MP, Sir Greg Knight, joined by Park Leisure founder and CEO Miles Dewhurst, who cut the ribbon to the new development.
Mr Dewhurst said: “Four years ago we committed to building a luxury retreat in Allerthorpe and it’s an incredible moment to see it all coming together. We have invested significantly in what was a redundant golf course, working with the incredible landscape to bring it back to life for the local community and leisure visitors. Allerthorpe Golf & Park Retreat really will set the standards for us as a business going forward. It will offer the ultimate luxury, 5-Star experience.”
Allerthorpe Golf & Park Retreat is Park Leisure’s fourth development in Yorkshire.
