FILEY library is to explore one of the more intriguing episodes in medieval history later this month.
Guest speaker Tim Tubbs will guide the audience through the murky goings on surrounding the unsolved murder of Mary Queen of Scot's first husband, Lord Darnley, in 16th-century Scotland.

Books on the subject are also available to borrow from the library and library card holders can access the Dictionary of National Biography free at the North Yorkshire libraries website.
