VANDALS have smashed the windscreen and damaged the door of a taxi.
North Yorkshire Police said the Nippy taxi picked up two men from the
Byways Inn at Crossgates, Scarborough, at about 11.30pm on Wednesday, July 11.
After driving on the A170 to West Ayton, close to the Forge Valley Inn,
the men go out of the vehicle where one of them picked up a stick and hit the taxi, smashing the windscreen and damaging the door pillar.
Both men were described as aged 25 to 30 years old, 5ft 10in tall and well-built, and police want to hear from anyone who has information which could assist the investigation.
