YORK was treated to a surprise aerial display from the Red Arrows this afternoon.
The iconic RAF display team are on their way to perform at the Sunderland International Airshow, which starts at 4pm.
Residents and visitors were delighted to see the Red Arrows soar through the skies above the city and some quick-thinking people managed to catch the display team on camera.
