NORTH Yorkshire County Council’s bid for superfast broadband funding has been successful.
The Rural Development Programme for England will provide £11.15 million for its Superfast North Yorkshire (SFNY) project.
In addition, the council has won £15.1 million in funding from the Government to develop a series of local full fibre networks, the second highest amount awarded to any local authority.
