North Yorkshire County Council has been successful in its bid for funding for improved rural broadband connections
NORTH Yorkshire County Council’s bid for superfast broadband funding has been successful.
The Rural Development Programme for England will provide £11.15 million for its Superfast North Yorkshire (SFNY) project.
In addition, the council has won £15.1 million in funding from the Government to develop a series of local full fibre networks, the second highest amount awarded to any local authority.
