FRENCH-INDIAN singer-songwriter Nerina Pallot will play the National Centre of Early Music in York on the closing night of her 13-date solo autumn tour.

Pallot, 43, will be promoting her sixth studio album, Stay Lucky, on British and Irish travels that will take her to Leeds University Union on November 18, as well as York on November 21.

Born on the island of Jersey and now living in London, Pallot wrote and produced Stay Lucky at London’s RAK Studios. She plays piano, analogue synthesiser, guitar and percussion on the record, joined by such guest musicians as Suede guitarist Bernard Butler, Westlife singer and songwriter Markus Feehily and Bright Light Bright Light singer and songwriter Rod Thomas.

The core group on the album were drawn from Michael Kiwanuka’s touring band: Steve Pringle on keys, Alex Bonfanti on bass and Lewis Wright on drums.
